Lawrenceville, Georgia – May 23, 2023 - Kendall Vegetation Services (“Kendall”) and Sterling Investment Partners (“Sterling”), are pleased to announce the appointment of Kurt Goodman as President of Kendall, effective July 1, 2023. Kurt will also continue as the CFO of SIP Vegetation Management Holdings LLC, the holding company that owns Kendall and Xylem Tree Experts. Current CEO, Robert Williams, will be retiring after a long and successful career with the company, but will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as a strategic advisor to the company.

Kurt Goodman began his career at Kendall in 2020. He brings 30 years of financial and operational experience to this role, having served in executive positions at similar service-oriented companies. Kurt has held responsibility for all corporate functions as well as managed customer and business relationships. As CFO/CAO at Kendall, he focused on keeping the company financially healthy, expanding the service territory, and driving the company’s strategic initiatives. “Robert Williams has spent the last 35 years building the Kendall brand to where it is today, and I am honored to assume the role of President at Kendall. We are poised to do great things in the coming years, and I look forward to the enormous potential that lies ahead.” said Mr. Goodman.

Robert Williams, current co-CEO of the combined company and President and CEO of Kendall Vegetation Services, will retire effective June 30, 2023. Robert joined Kendall Vegetation Services in 1988 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing Kendall’s strategic direction, results, and culture. Throughout his 30+ years with Kendall, Robert has helped the business expand across the Southeast and Midwest U.S. Robert will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as a strategic advisor to the company.

In addition to Kurt’s appointment, Randolph Hoover will assume the role of CEO of the combined holding company after serving as co-CEO with Robert Williams. Randolph Hoover brings over 29 years of executive experience to his new role, having co-founded Xylem Tree Experts. Other key appointments include Benjamin Hoover who will assume the position of President of the combined company and President of Xylem Tree Experts LLC, and Scott Konikoff who will serve as Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of the combined company overseeing risk and strategic initiatives. 

The combined company will operate out of Norfolk, Virginia, and Lawrenceville, Georgia, providing comprehensive vegetation management services to investor-owned utilities, cooperative utilities, and municipalities across the United States.
